In celebration of Johnny Appleseed's birthday, we did apples, apples, apples this week! We read about the life of Johnny Appleseed, made Johnny Appleseed hats, found the star in the apple and stamped apple star prints, tasted red, yellow, and green apples and decided on our favorites (we liked the red because it was sweet!), sorted apples, ordered apples from smallest to biggest, and so much more! And what apple celebration is complete without homemade applesauce? Sneak a peek at the video below to see some of our applesauce preparation, and head over to our picture page to see pictures of each kid mashing!
* Sidenote: the video just so happens to flip upside down! Technology is wonderful when it works and awful when it malfunctions! Turn your head (or your whole computer!) or just enjoy the happy sounds of a fantastic Kindergarten classroom! :)
