All About Me!
Hi! My name is Kimberly Warriner. I was born and raised in Salem, New Jersey, which is only a hop and a skip away! After I graduated college, I applied to more than ONE HUNDRED school districts. I cannot believe how fortunate I was to end up at Caesar Rodney. I am so blessed to have found my home at Welch. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else!
These Are a Few of My Favorite Things
My absolute favorite thing in the world is when I am watching the incredible things the kinder kids do! But since I can't teach all of the time :), I Iove to read, travel anywhere and everywhere, watch the Phillies, eat ice cream, go to the shore, and spend time with my adorable nephews (they're 2, 4, and 8!), my family, my high school sweetheart, and my friends.
Can you find my "two-thirds" (I'm a triplet!) in the picture below? Hint: one's a boy and one's a girl! =)
And how much do my nephews make you melt? Such a lucky aunt!! =)

I Just Loooove to Learn! :)
Growing up, I attended public and private schools in South Jersey. I graduated from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA, in 2010 with my Bachelors in Elementary and Early Childhood Education, and I am now the proud graduate of Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, holding a Masters in Classroom Technology. Since I kind of sort of really really love to learn, I started my quest for my doctorate in Educational Leadership this past September!
My Very Own "Braggin' Dragon"
In our classroom, we have a Braggin' Dragon who shares students' great work and anything they are proud of. Here's Miss Warriner's very own Braggin' Dragon!
1. I am certified to teach in Delaware, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania
2. I have received a Recognition of Excellence from the Educational Testing Service
for my Elementary Education testing scores
3. I was chosen from 518 students to be the Points of Distinction Scholar
at Elizabethtown, which is an award granted to the senior student who best
exemplifies the college's ideals (eeee!)
4. I've gotten to watch three classes of fives and sixes completely blossom! :)
5. I am so honored to be chosen as Welch Elementary's 2013-2014 Teacher of the Year
AND to make it to the finals for district teacher of the year! What an incredible honor!!

So How Long Have I Been Doing This?
I think I've lived up to the adage that time flies when you're having fun... It's so hard to believe that this will be my FOURTH YEAR of teaching Kindergarten! I absolutely love my little ones and could not imagine doing anything else :) They say if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life, and I whole-heartedly believe that. I feel so incredibly blessed!!
